D -- TELECOMMUNICATION SERVICES SOL IFB-IRM-96-180 DUE 090595 POC Mary Jo Mattia, Contracting Officer, 301/415-7315, Peggy Higgins, Contract Specialist, 301/415-6520 The Nuclear Regulatory Commission intends to issue an Invitation for Bids for unlimited airtime within the metropolitan Washington, DC area for all cellular telephone service for NRC-owned mobile cellular and portable cellular telephones, for on call maintenance on all existing NRC-owned mobile cellular and portable cellular phones, for installation and deinstallation for mobile cellular phones, for voice mail for the mobile cellular and portable cellular phones, and for purchase of new portable cellular phones. All portable cellular phones shall have automatic ''roaming access'' to provide coverage throughout the continental United States as well as metropolitan Washington, DC area. ''Automatic call forwarding'' and ''caller notification'' are requirements for the cellular phones, also. The period of performance shall be from December 1, 1995, to November 30, 1996, for the base year and a single one (1) year option to go through November 30, 1997.
