J -- PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF EQUIPMENT SOL IFB 2075 DUE 082495 POC Contact Point, Phyllis Yates, Contracting Officer, 415/329-4163, FAX 415/329-5480 The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for scheduled preventive maintenance and minor repairs for HVAC, fire protection, and other mechanical and electrical systems at its Hawaii Volcano Observatory at Hawaii Vocanos National Park, Island of Hawaii. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, materials, supplies, repair parts, tools, and equipment, and shall plan, schedule, and coordinate all work to ensure effective and timely services to maintain unimpaired operation and normal life expectancy of the equipment. Makes of equipment to be maintained include Rheem, Pomona Air, Fisher Controls, Trane, Cargoaire, Russell, Oasis, Meteron, Simplex, and Fenwall. Expected performance period 10/1/95 through 9/30/96 with four (4) one-year options to extend contract through 9/30/00. Contractor must have adequate personnel in Hawaii to ensure timely performance.
