Intend to issue SP0910-95-R-0006 with the following requirement: Contractor shall furnish all personnel, supervision, management, equipment (except refuse containers) and materials, as required to provide for the collection and final off-base disposition of garbage, refuse, wood, ashes and other discarded solid waste, resulting from residential, industrial, and other activities from Government-ownd or Contractor-owned containers. All materials shall be removed from DESC property to an off-base dumping site. Due to the scheduled base closure of DESC in Sep or Dec 96, the solicitation will cite a one-year period and an option period. A pre-proposal conference will be held. (178)
