767-7875. Training of Air Force Youth Program Staff on Identifying and
Supporting at Risk Youth - Contractor is to provide all personnel,
training, training materials, 200 copies of an approved training
manual, travel and travel accommodations, supervision and other items
and services necessary to conduct training (on weekdays only) on
identifying and providing support to at-risk youth of Air Force
families. This training will be for staff of Air Force Youth Programs
in the United States and overseas and interested community agencies on
and off bases. The overall objective of the training workshops will be
to prepare staff who work in Air Force Youth Programs to prevent,
identify, and provide activities which support at-risk youth. Any
source responding to this synopsis must meet the following criteria:
The contractor must possess: (a) Hold a Ph.D., with studies relating to
youth development or a human services field, (b) five years of
providing training for staff who work directly with at-risk youth on
adolescence development (c) extensive experience collaborating
w/different community agencies such as school officials, law
enforcement officials to promote constructive youth development. The
Trainers must possess: (a) an undergraduate or Master's degree from an
accredited college oruniversityrelated to youth development or a human
service field with specialization in youth development. (b) five years
of full-time experience of working directly with youth and training
adults to work with 10-18 years old on such topics asdelinquency,
violence, drugs, alcohol, sexuality, conflict resolution, careers,
educational competency, depression and suicides, (c) experience
collaborating with different community organizations such as schools,
law enforcement officials to promote healthy youth development. Project
will be 100% set-aside for HBCU/MI's if adequate responses are
