a 4,350 square foot Medical Training Administrative Facility containing
offices, classrooms, storage space, rest rooms and mechanical rooms.
Construction is slab on grade, stud walls with face brick and wood
truss with standing seam metal roof. Site work, utility connections
including primary/secondary electrical, rerouting of sanitary sewer,
sidewalks and landscaping will also be included. Specifications and 1/2
size drawings will be furnished on or about 17 July 1995 at a charge of
$15.00 per set. All requests for a solicitation package should be in
writing along with a check or money order made payable to ``FAO, USAED
- Norfolk''. Payment will not be refunded and specifications need not
be returned. Please provide a physical street address, telephone

opening date is scheduled for 16 August 1995 at 2:00 p.m. Completion
time for this project is 305 calendar days. SIC code for the job is
1629 with the estimated cost of the project ranging from $500,000.00 to
$1,000,000.00. This is 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business
(SDB) Concerns whose annual average gross revenue over the last three
(3) years does not exceed $17 million. All requests must state whether
the company is a small disadvantaged, small or large business.
Interested SDB concerns should respond as soon as possible but no later
than 15 days after this notice. If adequate interest is not received
from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as unrestricted
without further notice; therefore, replies to this notice are requested
from all business concerns as well as from SDB concerns. Award of the
contract will be made as a whole to one bidder. Affirmative Action to
ensure equal opportunity is applicable to the resulting contract.
Liquidated damages will be specified and bonding is required. SPECIAL
NOTE: All responders are advised that this requirement may be cancelled
or rescinded at any time during the solicitation, selection,
evaluation, and/or final award process based on decisions related to
DOD changes in force structure and disposition of US Armed Forces.
