Hernandez tel: 210/652-3838 Work to be accomplished includes but is not limited to the following: construction of approximately 417 SM (43,240 SF) of rear service docks, ramps and staging areas; approximately 342 SM (3,681 SF) front entrance addition with a bakery/deli shop. Alteration to the interior shall include conversion of existing warehouse space to sales area, dairy, produce, health and beauty, and frozen food display. The existing Administrative area will be renovated. Upgrades will be accomplished to the entire stores electrical system, HVAC system and plumbing. The entire refrigeration system will be replaced including all display cases. The project also include replacement of the existing roofing, flashing, and counterflashing. The existing asphalt parking lot will be repaired, overlayed and restriped. Phasing of the construction will be required to allow full operation of this 6,500 SM (69,967 SF) facility during the renovation. The magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Bid guarantee is required. Package should be available on or about 14 July 95. Time for project completion is approximately 12 months. This procurement is unrestricted.
