962-3953 Work may consist of the removal, replacement, or improvement
of above and below ground containers, containment structure, and
ancillary features within the North Atlantic Division's geographic
boundaries. The work may require the relocation of utilities,.
Contractors shall possess all qualifications as specified in applicable
federal (to include U.S. Army Corps of Engineers) state, and local
regulations. Containment structures include, but are not limited to,
underground storage tanks, above ground storage tanks, liquified
petroleum gas tanks, oil-water separators, transformer vaults, etc.
Potential contents include, but are not limited to, petroleum oils, and
lubricants; RCRA hazardous wastes, waste oils; sediments;
poly=chlorinated biphenyl; etc. The contractor may perform work in
Main, Vermont, New Hampshire, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island,
Massachusetts, Pennsylvania; New Jersey, West Virginia, maryland;
Delaware, Virginia and the District of Columbia. Contractors shall
prepare all plans and reports required by federal, state, U.S. Army
Corps of Engineers, and local regulations. These plans include, but are
not limited, to Chemical Data Acquisition Plans, Safety, Health, and
Emergency Response Plans, closure plans, closure plan implementation
summaries, closure reports, etc. Contractors shall obtain all required
permits and notify local, county, state and federal authorities as
required. Contractors shall be responsible for the removal, transport
and disposal of the containers and containment structures, accessories,
contents, excavated material and other debris and wastes generated in
the performance of this work. The government shall obtain services
using delivery orders tailored to meet site-specific conditions. The
contractor shall be capable of simultaneously executing delivery orders
throughout the specified geographic region. Work shall be performed in
one base year and two option years. The government may award one or
more contracts. The cumulative contract total is $8 million. If the
selected contractor is a large business concern, the contractor shall
submit a sub- contracting plan with the final fee proposal. A minimum
of 25% of the total planned subcontracting dollars shall be placed with
small business concerns. At least 8% of the total planned
subcontracting dollars shall be placed with small disadvantaged
businesses. Responses received within 15 days from the date of this
issue will be considered for selection. Full size plan and specs $27.25
