This action is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should indicate interest, in writing, as early as possible but not later than 10 calendar days of this notice by providing to the Contracting office as a minimum the following information: (a) a positive statement of eligibility as a SDB concern; (b) a positive statement of your intention to bid on this contract as a prime contractor; (c) evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, and point of contacts and telephone numbers; (d) provide evidence of bonding capability to the maximum magnitude of the project to include both single and aggregate totals. All of the above must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made on availability of interested SDB concerns. Failure to submit all information requested will result in a contractor not being considered as a qualifying SDB. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns by close of business 10 calendar days from the date of this notice, this solicitation will be issued on an unrestrictive basis without further notice. Therefore, replies are requested from all concerns as well as from SDB concerns. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Work includes but is not limited to the following: providing and installing a geomembrane liner for the five individual dikes at the Bulk Storage plant as detailed in the plans and specifications, relocating the existing security cameras to outside the dike area and providing new support poles, disposing of the contaminated soil in Dike #2, and adjusting drains and catch basins, as necessary, to meet new elevations at Seymour Johnson AFB NC. Solicitation will be available on or about 21 Jul 95. The performance period is approximately 180 calendar days.
