Estimated between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Performance time is 167 calendar days. Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, equipment, supplies and supervision necessary to accomplish Alterations and Repairs of Swimming Pool #1 at Charleston AFB, SC. The work includes, but is not limited to the following major items of work. Extend the pool deck, level berm, outdoor aluminum bleachers, road demolition, upgrade storm drainage and guard posts. Provide new roof and handicapped fixtures, resurface house floor, new plumbing fixtures, additional hose bibbs, and architectural, electrical and mechanical upgrades. Provide sidewalks with lighting and lanscaping. Total replacement of pool mechanical system including all pool deck work. Mechanical system to include separate filtration, recirculation and disinfection systems for main pool and kiddie pool and new and filter house... Pool deck work includes resurfacing, fencing, deck and pool lighting, pool equipment and accessories. This project is unrestricted but may be considered for 100 percent set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible but no later than 15 days of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the Contracting Officer evidence of capability to perform and a positive statement of eligibility as a socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as unrestricted without further notice.
