The work involves, but is not limited to, general construction, alterations, mechanical and electrical work, utility systems, necessary removal of existing structures, demolition, and construction. Contractor to perform demolition of existing seating, A/V projection booth, and stage areas. Demolition will include partial stage, seating, existing walls, existing electrical panels, and lighting all associated with conduit and fittings. Contractor shall reconstruct the stage, wall in stage, and A/V booth areas, new finishes on floors, walls and ceilings, new doors, new stage curtain/valance system with accessories, lighting with associated wiring, conduits and fixtures, conduits for new A/V equipment, HVAC noise treatments and connect new fire alarm equipment to an existing system. Contractor shall install new VA provided seating. Duration of the project is approx. 6 months. Cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000. All requests for this solicitation shall be in writing. No telephone requests will be accepted. A limited number of bid packages will be available to prime and sub-contractors on a first come, first serve basis until the supply is exhausted. This solicitation will be available O/A 7/20/95. BOD is anticipated O/A 8/21/95. SIC 1542, with a size standard of $17 million is applicable. This solicitation is unrestricted. (0181)
