35 -- RAIL MOUNTED DRILL JUMBO Contact, E. L. Herndon, Purchasing Agent, 702/295-2727. Reynolds Electrical & Engineering Co., Inc. (REECo), prime management and operations contractor to the Nevada Operations Offices of the U.S. Department of Energy, seeks to identify qualified sources for the purchase of one (1) each Rail Mounted Drill Jumbo, Atlas Copco Rail Drill 321 or equal. The Drill Jumbo will be used in conjunction with drilland blast operations for a tunneling project. The solicitation package will detail the minimum features required. The unit shall be configured to operate on 36-inch gauge 85# ASCE track with a gradient of plus or minus three percent. We contemplate that this acquisition will be set-aside to small businesses who employ 500 employees or less, unless an adequate number of small businesses are not identified. This does not mean that a large business can not respond to this sources sought synopsis.
