70 -- IBM SOFTWARE POC Contact Terry Kraker, (309) 782-8570, Contract Specialist The Rock Island Arsenal intends to upgrade the following Government owned software from MVS/XA to MVS/ESA operating system (basic license) on the AMDAHL 5890-600E CPU under IBM'S Federal license payment plan against IBM'S FY 95 GSA ADPE schedule, GS00K94AGS5541 option year one for the approximate period 01 Aug 95 through 30 Sep 95: Program NO.5655-068, MVS/ESA SP JES2 version 5 (to include feature codes 0045, oeshell/util V5R1, and 0079, OE debug V5R1); program NO. 5695-117, ACF/VTAM V4 MVS/ESA (to include VTAM programming, VTAM prg 6.2 and VTAM programming Q/R; program NO. 5655-084, resource measurement facility version 5; program NO. 5685-083, CICS/ESA version 3; program NO.5685-111, netview version2 MVS/ESA; and program NO. 5695-DF1, dfsms/mvsesa. All programs to include all associated product documentation. Software to be compatible with the AMDAHL 5890-600E. Software for use at DMC RI. NO contract award will be made on the basis ofoffers/proposals received in response to this notice. A synopsis of intent to place an order cannot be considered a request foroffer/proposals. If a Solicitation isissued, NO additional synopsis will be published.
