COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF JULY 6,1995 PSA#1382NASA, George C. Marshall Space Flight Center, Procurement Office,
Marshall Space Flight Center, AL 35812 A -- HYBRID POWER SUPPLY DEVELOPMENT FOR THE SPACE STATION FURNACE
FACILITY (SSFF) INSTRUMENT POWER CONDITIONING UNIT SOL 8-W-5-EB-75529
POC Contact Michael R. Sosebee, GP20-B/Contract Specialist,
205-544-0415, or Byron W. Butler, GP20/Contracting Officer The proposed
effort will provide the necessary management, labor, equipment,
materials, facilities, hardware, services, and other resources to
design, develop, test, qualify, build and deliver hybrid power supply
units -- The design shall be based to the maximum extent possible on
circuit and packaging designs and hardware, both electrical and
mechanical, which have been previously qualified as flight hardware --
The power supply shall be designed as a single part, hybrid circuit,
in accordance with MIL-H-38534, class H, Option 1 or 2 with Particle
Impact Noise Detection (PIND) and Radiographic Inspection added -- The
hybrid will be used to provide adjustable voltage DC power to furnace
heater elements in the SSFF -- The primary power source will be the
120Vdc available on the Space Station -- The DC isolated hybrid output
shall provide up to 11Vdc or 20Adc within a 120W power limit -- The
analog control input that adjusts the output voltage shall be DC
isolated from both input and output power circuitry -- Requests for
copies of the RFP must be submitted in writing -- Transmission by
facsimile to 205-544-9081 or by Internet e-mail to
michael.sosebee@msfc.nasa.gov is acceptable -- Firm date for receipt of
