The Dahlgren Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Socielte d'Applications Generales d'Elecricite et de Mecanique (SAGEM), Mecanique, Le Ponant De Paris, 27 Rue Le Blanc, 75512 Paris CEDEX 15, France for the purpose of engineering field support, preventive/corrective maintenance and integration support. The period of performance is for 4 years. SAGEM is the sole manufacturer of the stabilization subsystem used in support of the Horizon Infrared Surveillance Sensor (HISS) program. The Navy does not possess the necessary documentation on the stabilization subsystem to permit other contractors to accomplish this effort. Note 22 applies. (0184)
