S -- SHARED ENERGY LIGHTING RETROFIT PERFORMANCE CONTRACT. SOL RFP NO. 9562. DUE 071295. Contact Contract Branch, (202) 226-2557. The Architect of the Capitol (Architect) intends to award up to three (3) contracts for the procurement of energy conservation services in the U.S. Capitol Complex of Buildings, Washington, D.C. pursuant to the National Energy Conservation Policy Act, as amended (42 U.S.C. 8287) and other authority. The Contractor shall provide, at no capital cost to the Government, all labor, material and equipment necessary to effect electrical energy savings through energy consumption reduction by lighting retrofit. The offer shall be prepared based on Government established baseline data. Payment for services will be made from resulting energy costs savings. A firm, fixed price contract is anticipated. In order to have its proposal considered for contract award pursuant to this Request for Proposals (RFP), an offeror must either be included on the Department of Energy list of qualified firms or be determined to be qualified by the Architect based on evaluation of the information the offeror provides in response to the Qualification Questionnaire attached to the RFP. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or about July 19, 1995, and proposals received on or about October 31, 1995. A Pre-Proposal Conference and Site Visit will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 1995 in Room H2-280 in the Ford House Office Building, 2nd and D Streets, S.W.
