Thompson Field Air National Guard Base, Jackson, Mississippi. Project will consist of construction of a one-story building having approximately 12,100 square feet of building area. The building consists of concrete foundation supported by drilled piling, elevated structural concrete floor, structural concrete floor, structural steel framework, brick and concrete block exterior cavity loadbearing walls, steel bar joist roof framing system, rigid roof insulation and single ply roofing on metal decking. Utilities and Support facilities include plumbing, gas-fired heaating system, ventilation system, air conditioning, water, electric power, sanitary and storm drainage systems, dry-pipe fire suppression system, approximately 6000 square yards of asphalt parking lot and access drives, approximately 2250 square yards of concrete paving, and landscaping. The estimated construction cost is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Interested concerns should as early as possible, but not later than 15 calendar days after publication of this notice, indicate interest in bidding as a prime or as a subcontractor on the project, provide evidence of capability to perform including references for similar work with contract numbers, points of contact, and telephone numbers, and if appropriate a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantated business concern. In addition, the dollar amount of current construction bonding capability is required. The Contracting Officer will utilize the information received to make a decision to issue this solicitation as set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) or as ``Unrestricted'' without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all interested business concerns as well as from SDB concerns. Replies must indicate the firms size status such as large business, small business, small disadvantaged business, or 8(a). The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 1542. The applicable small business size standard including affiliates is no more than $17 million average annual revenue for the previous three years. (180)
