The work consists of repairing four(4) slide gate assemblies and includes the following operations: placement and manipulaton of an existing bulkhead; providing water control and dewatering to perform work; removal of each gate; gate reapir (including disassembly, sandblasting, replacement of worn parts, and painting); and reinstallation of each gate. The gate frame seal bolts shall be replaced. The bulkhead shall also be disassembled, sandblasted and painted. Estimated magnitude of work is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Issue date for solicitation will be on or about 01 August 1995 at a cost of $36.00 for Specifications with Half size Drawings, $45.75 for Specifications with Full size Drawings, $18.25 for Specifications only (Charges are non-refundable).
