Aurora, CO 80011-9551 Z -- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: REPAIR GROUNDING AND ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,
PHASE 22 Sol DAHA05-95-B-0010. Contact Char Woods, Contract
Administrator, 303/340-9978, or Mr. David Cole, Contracting Officer,
303/340-9945. The project consists of modifications to grounding
systems for multiple buildings. Upgrade buildings' grounding system to
current recognized standards, and add power surge protection. Bond all
local grounded objects to create equal potential ground plane. Work
will include exterior work to grounding, lighting protection, and
interior grounding work in buildings 410, 414, 415, 416, 417, 429, 431,
620, and 630. Furnish the labor, materials, tools, equipment, quality
control, supervision and services necessary for or incidental to the
installation and use of materials, systems and accessories for this
project. Estimated performance time is 6 months. The estimated
construction cost range is approximately $250,000 to $500,000. The
estimated completion date is April 96. It is anticipated that a firm
fixed price contract will be awarded as a result of this solicitation.
Solicitation will be available approximately 17 July 1995.
Solicitation package will be limited to one set per bidder and will be
issued on a first come first served basis as the number of copies is
limited. Copies will be available in various Plans Rooms throughout
Colorado. The site visit will be held approximately 28 August 1995, in
a secure area. All attendees must provide the following information
for each representative planning on attending. Address this information

Name, Social Security Number, Company Name, Date and Place of Birth,
and U.S. Citizenship. All attendees will meet at the Contracting Office
(JAAB) Building 1005, Rm 249 on 28 Aug 95 at 8:00 AM. Place of
performance is Buckley ANG Base, Aurora, Colorado. The Small Business
size standard for this solicitation is one where the average annual
receipts of the concern and its affiliates for the previous three (3)
fiscal years does not exceed $7,000,000 annually. The proposed
solicitation herein is being considered for 100% Set-Aside for Small
Disadvantaged Business concerns (SDB). To assist the Contracting
Officer in reaching a set-aside decision the following information will
be provided by prospective bidders. Interested concerns should as early
as possible, but not later than (7) calendar days after publication of
this notice, indicate interest in bidding as the prime or as a
subcontractor on the project, evidence of capability to perform
including references for similar work with contract numbers, points of
contact, and telephone numbers, and if appropriate a positive
statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically
disadvantaged business concern. In addition, dollar amount of current
construction bonding capability is required. The Contracting Officer
will utilize the information received to make a decision to issue this
solicitation as a set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) or
as ``UNRESTRICTED'' without further notice. Therefore, replies to this
notice are requested from all interested business concerns as well as
from SDB concerns. Replies must indicate the firm's size status such as
large business, small business, small disadvantaged business, or 8(a).
Requests for bid documents must be in writing. Telephone requests will
not be accepted. The return address must be a street address and not a
