Correction of notice published in the May 26, 1995 edition of the Commerce Business Daily as follows: Furnish all labor, materials, tools and equipment and perform all work required to construct an addition to building 4674 (Post Museum) at Fort George G. Meade, Maryland. The principal feature of the work is the addition of approximately 2200 SF. Site work shall include demolition, clearing and grubbing, grading, excavation and backfilling, construction of concrete walks and turf, concrete reinforcement, footings and slabs, masonry walls consisting of 12'' concrete masonry units, structural steel members, wood trusses and roof sheathing, finish carpentry and plywood siding, Bituminous dampproofing, asphalt shingles, metal louvers and joint sealings, standing seam metal roof system to match existing, steel doors, frames and hardware, stucco, gypsum wallboard, steel studs and painting, mechanical insulation, air conditioning system, heating and ventilating systems to include testing and balancing, electrical distribution system and lighting and power. Work will be performed in four phases of which during phase two, the contractor will be required to cease work so that Government property may be placed in the addition and evaluated. All work shall be completed within 240 calendar days after award of contract. The SIC Code is 1542. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business. The dollar magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. This proposed solicitation will be issued O/A July 15, 1995 (TENTATIVE DATE) with a proposed solicitation bid opening O/A August 15, 1995 (TENTATIVE DATE). All requests for this proposed solicitation must be submitted in writing. Telefaxed requests will not be accepted. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by this agency.
