Z -- REPLACE HVAC SYSTEM, ROOF, AND REPAIR COMMUNICATIONS FACILITIES, BLDG NO 6510, PROJECT NOS XUMU 86-0065, 95-1151B, AND 95-1330B. Sol F04684-95-B-0018 due 082495. Project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, supplies, and equipment necessary for the Repair of Bldg No 6510. Work includes removal of existing HVAC System, including asbestos, and replacement with a new Variable Air Volume (VAV) System; replacement of built-up roof; replace carpeting, exterior doors, and existing light fixtures; rewiring of light fixtures to conform with Title 24 requirements; upgrading of fire alarm and detection system; upgrading of corridors for one (1) hour rating; and upgrading of building to comply with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements. The magnitude of this project is between $1M and $5M and will be solicited on an unrestricted basis under Standard Industrial Classification Code 1542. A charge of $60.00 is required for each solicitation package requested. Payment must be made by cashiers check or money order only made payable to DAO-DE, Vandenberg AFB CA. Personal checks will not be accepted. No refunds will be made if project is subsequently cancelled. Requests for bid sets must be submitted in writing and include business size, telephone number, and Zip Plus Four code.
