Manning, (617)687-2529, Contracting Officer, Emily Smith, (617)687-2361, Additional Contact, John Guregian, (617)687-2368 Provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to renovate approximately 24,000 Gross Square feet of existing clinical space on the first floor of Building 78 at the ENRM VA Medical Center, 200 Springs Road, Bedford, Massachusetts. Construct a new entrance addition on the rear of Building 78 to provide access to the renovated space. Construct a new entrance road off of springs road and over an existing below grade tunnel into the interior oval of the Hospital complex, continuing to the new building entrance addition. Work to include all necessary demolition, utility relocation, asbestos abatement, walks, grading, drainage, mechanical and electrical work necessary for all renovations and new work, in accordance with the plans and specifications. Work is to be completed in two phases as shown on contract drawings. The estimated construction cost is between $1,000,000.00 and 5,000,000.00. Issue date for this project is July 31, 1995. There will be a prebid conference August 15, 1995, 9:00AM. Bids must be received in Room 007b, Building 80 not later than August 31, 1995, 2:00PM local time.
