The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has a need to make improvements to the exterior of the J. Edgar Hoover FBI building, 10th and Pennsylvania Avenue, N. W., Washington D. C. The work will include installation of a new granite stone facing for the ground level exterior of the building facing Pennsylvania Avenue; furnish and install precast concrete planter boxes on the mezzanie level of the building, and associated fascia bands. The estimated cost of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Specifications and detailed requirements will be furnished with the solicitation. Release date for the solicitation is July 17, 1995. Bid opening date is August 16, 1995. Solicitation is available from FBI, Attn: Mr. Jan H. Brown, Room 6875, JEH-FBI Building, 10th & Pennsylvania Avenue, N. W., Washington, D. C. 20535. Bid sets will be issued on a first-come-first serve basis until supply is exhausted.
