Walter Reed Army Medical Center intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Sofamor-Danak, Memphis, TN for the procurement of a Micro Endoscopic System for use by the Neurosurgical Service, Department of Surgery. The system shall use a 2.5 mm working channel with direct visualization, use a one hole puncture for spinal procedures instead of a two hole puncture. The system shall be able to offer visual confirmation of epidural fragments outside of the normal surgical exposure. The solicitation shall outline all minimum essential characteristic.
