synopsis is to modify the previously published description of the
subject solicitation. The National Institute of Standards and
Technology (NIST), Gaithersburg, MD intends to purchase a cryogenic,
electrical substitution radiometer system. The contract will consist of
two phases. In Phase I, the contractor will design the required
radiometer system and the performance period shall last no longer than
sixty (60) days commencing with acceptance of the contract. Phase II
shall consist of the construction, assembly, testing, and delivery of
the operating radiometer system as designed in Phase I and shall last
no longer than 120 days from the time Phase I is approved and the
contractor is given the notice to proceed. Additionally, Phase II
consists of a 14 day training period and a 360 day warranty. The award
of a cost-plus-fixed-fee term contract is anticipated. All responsible
sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
