DISA is seeking market information to determine what vendors exist to provide Unisys 1100/2200 compatible disk subsystems. These subsystems need to have disk drives with a capacity of two gigabyte or more (formatted) and be compatible with release 41 and subsequent releases of the operating system. Locations that would use the disk are: Cherry Point, N.C.; Jacksonville, FL.; Denver, CO and San Diego, CA. Interested vendors should provide a brief technical report describing their UNISYS compatible disk capabilities. The report should include the following information: 1) Type(s) of equipment and configurations including support services provided for the above locations. 2) Supporting GSA schedule reference and pricing information if available. This is a request for information only and will be used to assist DISA in determining whether market conditions warrant the release of a formal Request for Proposal (RFP). There is no RFP available at this time. No contract will be awarded as a result of this Request for Information.
