C -- ARCHITECTURAL/ENGINEERING DESIGN SERVICES TO PERFORM UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK SITE INVESTIGATIONS AND PREPARE SITE INVESTIGATION REPORTS AT THE NAVAL COMPLEX, NEWPORT, RI Sol N62472-95-D-2268. Architectural and Engineering Services are required for the preparation of Underground Storage Tank closure assessments, Site Investigation Reports and preparation of corrective action plans in accordance with the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management Underground Storage Tank Regulations at the Naval Complex, Newport, RI, each of which will feature requirements in environmental engineering. Also included may be; checking of shop drawings, preparation of ``as-built'' drawings and consulation during construction. There may be asbestos or other hazardous waste connected with projects that may be included in this contract. This is a contract is an Indefinite Delivery A/E contract extending for a period of 12 months and includes an option for an additional one year extension. The Government reserves the right to exercise this option. A/E firms responding to the announcement will be evaluated on the above requirements based upon the following criteria in relative order of importance. a) Specialized experience and capabilities in all phases of environmental engineering with a special emphasis on work related to closure of underground storage tanks, b) Professional qualification of the staff to be assigned with special emphasis on field personnel to be utilized, c) Location of firms in the general geographical area of the projects, provided there is an appropriate number of qualified firms therein for consideration, d) Cost control effectiveness, e) Design quality control procedures, f) Volume of work previously awarded to the firm by the Department of Defense. Engineering firms which meet requirements described in this announcement are invited to submit a completed Standard Form 254 Architect-Engineer and Related Service Questionnaire and Standard Form 255, Archititect-Engineer and Related Service Questionnaire for Specific Project, to ROICC, NAVFAC Contracts, NETC, Building 1, Simonpietri Dr, Newport RI 02841-1712. Firms responding to this announcement by 7 July 1995 will be considered. Services will be required within one year of the date of contract award under this basic contract. There will be an option to extend the contract for an additional year. The government reserves the right to exercise the option to this contract. A minimum fee of $5,000.00 is guaranteed under the basic contract. Subject to necessary changes, the total A-E fee that may be paid under this contract will not exceed $200,000.00 for the basic contract and will not exceed $200,000.00 for the option year.
