Project is located on the Clearwater Ranger District of the Nez Perce National Forest, Idaho County, Idaho. Project includes reconstruction of Trail #150 for pack/saddle and hiker from approximate mile post 2.5 to M.P. 5.2. Work entails clearing, grading, drainage on new alignment with 7 switchbacks for 1.5 miles and full width brushing on 1.2 miles. Naturalization work includes earthen berms and seeding/fertilizer. Location of project: From Grangeville, Idaho take State Highway 13 towards Kooskia to Forest Road 284 at Sally Ann Creek. Traverse FDR 284 through the town of Clearwater to its junction with FDR 1106. Travel FDR 1106 to Trail 150 and the trailhead. The project is approx 2.5 miles from trailhead at the intersect with Clear Creek. Estimated start work is August 31, 1995. The estimated price range is between S25,000 and S100,000. (0186)
