Place of Subcontract performance is Ascension Island, South Atlantic Ocean. Description of work: Replace HVAC/Refrigeration Units Various Facilities. Existing systems using R-12 or R-502 will be replaced with new R-22 equipment and/or chilled water system. Work includes, but is not limited to, removal and replacement of four 5-ton refrigeration systems for the medium and low temperatures in the existing walk-in coolers and freezers removal and replacement of two 25-ton HVAC systems using R-12 refrigeration with chilled water systems at Telemetry building; demolition/general repair one 15-ton HVAC at MILS building; removal and new installation of electrical work associted with new and existing refrigeration equipment. Description of work: Replace 6 inch Fuel Lines. Work includes, but isnot limited to, replacing approximately 3,900 linear feet of quad 6-inch welded steel fuel piping and associated valving; replacement of 6-inch pipes will be done with 8-inch welded steel fuel pipes and associated valving; routing of pipeline is above ground over uneven terrain; piping supported by concrete piers, both retaining and anchor types; replacement of 15% of existing piers which have deteriorated. Contractor shall be able to return fuel transfer systemto operations within 72 hours for temporary emergency fueling operations. Place of Subcontract performance is Antigua Island, West Indies. Description of Work: Replace HVAC/Refrigeration Units various facilities. Work includes, but is not limited to, demolition of a mechanical shed; remove and replace eightrefrigeration systems for the medium and low temperatures in existing walk-in coolers and freezers, with the capacity ranging from one to five tons per each system; removal and new installation of electrical work associted with new and existing equipment. Estimated value is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. (184)
