Guest rooms will receive new carpet, vinyl wall coverings, entry doors with computerized keyless locks, and upgraded energy efficient windows. Corridors and two lounges will receive carpet, vinyl wall covering, acoustical ceilings, and new lighting. A new 5 stop traction elevator will be installed in an existing empty shaft and new elevator doors will be cut into the existing cinder block walls. After the new elevator has been placed into service, the existing adjacent elevator will be modernized. The project is to be completed at 9600 Newbrige Dr., Academic Bldg., 3rd & 4th floors, Potomac MD 20858-99998.
