Facility heating and hot water are generated at steam plants throughout the base. The reliability of the steam/condensate lines is critical to the existence of Thule Air Base. Firm-Fixed Price Contract. Magnitude: $1,000,000 - $5,000,000. The work shall be completed in the summer of 1996. The summer at Thule Air Base is extremely short, and shipment of materials can only take place in July - August. Special Note: All discussions leading to contract award shall take place at the contracting office in the Embassy of the United States of America in Copenhagen Denmark. All costs, including travel costs, incurred by interested parties responding to this synopsis and any costs incurred as a result of subsequent discussions prior to award of contract are the sole responsibility of the interested parties.
