This is a notice of intent to place an order on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302 with Perkin Elmer for a complete TaqMan PCR Detection System. This is not a request for formal quotations or proposals. No solicitation document exist and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. Written responses including technical data sufficient to determine capability to meet the requirement must be received by this office within 15 calendar days after publication of this notice. If no affirmative responses are received within this time to determine that a comparable source more advantageous to the Government is available an order will be placed with the above vendor. (184)
