Lockheed Martin Space Operations (LMSO), a NASA Prime Contractor at Kennedy Space Center, FL (KSC), has a need for a firm to design, fabricate, test, deliver and install a water treatment evaporator skid to supplement a LICON wastewater plant presently in operation at KSC. The existing system will be relocated to a new Component Refurbishment and Chemical Analysis Facility currently under construction. Formal solicitation, which will be issued no sooner than 072495, will provide detailed requirements, however, the following is provided as general information: The existing industrial wastewater treatment facility currently treats by evaporation 300 gph feed water. An additional 300 gph is required. Size must be no larger than 12' 0'' W x 21' 0'' L x 12' 0'' H. Equipment must be compatible with existing equipment and all influent and effluent piping must be CPVC or compatible material. Design must be fully automatic and compatible with existing Paragon 550/opto-22 control package. PLC for new system must be able to be used as a backup in the event existing PLC has power failure. Power available is 3PH480V with space available for transformer to step down to 120V.
