This bid solicitation is for a Firm Fixed Price Non-Personal Services Contract. The Federal Prison Camp in Alderson, West Virginia seeks to fill the position of a radiological technologist. The x-ray tech will work directly with female inmates incarcerated at Federal Prison Camp, Alderson, West Virginia. Position duties will include but not limited to, set-up and shooting of routine x-ray film and mammograms, some instruction in the proper use and maintenance of x-ray equipment to Health services staff, equipment maintenance, quality control testing, assisting in special procedures such as fluoroscopy and contrast studies such as gastrointestinal studies with barium, maintain a log of all procedures, and filing of films and reports. Scheduling will normally consist of fifteen (15) sessions per week, one (1) session is define as two (2) hours, not to exceed thirty (30) hours per week. There are to be six hundred twenty-four (624) sessions for the contract period. This procurement is not set aside for small business. The contract period is from date of award through September 30, 1996. The estimated availability of this solicitation is July 24, 1995.
