This bid solicitation is for a Firm Fixed Price Non-Personal Services Contract. The Federal Prison Camp in Alderson, West Virginia seeks to fill the position of a Psychiatrist. The Psychiatrist will work directly with female inmates incarcerated at Federal Prison Camp, Alderson, West Virginia. Position duties will include but not be limited to, conducting patient evaluations, diagnostic testing, recommend treatment programs, prescribing necessary recommended medications, obtaining written informed consent authorization before prescribing any psychotropic, anxiolytic, or antidepressant medication, review of PA Qualification briefs, conduct inservice training for Health Services/Psychology staff if requested, recommendations to the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee when called upon, and maintain medical privileges to both admit and follow-up patients in local community hospitals. The prospective provider must maintain current licensing and personal liability or malpractice insurance. The scheduling will normally consist of one (1) session per week. A session is defined as a time frame not to exceed six (6) hours, or the minimum amount of time needed for the evaluation of a specific number of patients. The total number of sessions is not to exceed forty-four (44) for the contract period. These services will be performed on an as needed basis.
