The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), is sponsoring a small business opportunities conference in 1995, for U. S. small businesses and disadvantaged enterprises, including women-owned businesses, Historically Black Universities and Colleges (HBCUs), colleges and universities having a student body in which more than 40 percent of the students are Hispanic-American, and Private Voluntary Organizations (PVOs), controlled by minorities or women. The one-day conference will be held in Indianapolis, Indiana on July 20, 1995. The conferences will feature workshops, counseling sessions and speakers emphasizing marketing strategies for consulting services, procurement opportunities for export of manufactured goods/commodities, subcontracting opportunities, and how to do business with USAID in the international marketplace.
