This project consists of constructing an entomology facility at Pope AFB, NC. The project consists of constructing a 3600 SF CMU entomology facility over reinforced concrete foundation and footers with a metal roof. Functional spaces include offices, break room, locker room, herbicide and pesticide storage rooms, vehicle parking room, equipment storage, and mechanical room. The cost of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. This proposed acquisition is being considered for 100% set aside for Small Disadvantage Business firms (SBD). Interested SDB firms need to submit their interest not later than 23 Jul 95 and provide evidence of eligibility. If adequate interest is not received from SDB firms, the solicitation will be issued unrestricted; therefore, replies are requested from all business concerns. SDB eligibility evidence to include performance references, previous similar projects completed, and positive statement of eligibility as a socially and economically disadvantaged business concern, along with bonding capability.
