Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, and equipment to perform all operations in connection with a multiple project contract located at Vandenberg Air Force Base, California. The following projects as described are consolidated into a single construction contract. XUMU 95-1115B T-Repair Missile/Space Research Engineering Facility: A. Perform required fire/life safety upgrading of fire separation walls, exits, fire dampers, fire rated doors, earthquake bracing of piping and equipment in Building 8310. B. Provide air conditioning for rooms 153, 154, 155, 156, 157 and 158 located in Building 8310. XUMU 95-1209B T-Repair Heating System (Bldg 8310): A. Replace three (3) existing hot water boilers together with their pumps, expansion tanks, valves, strainers, fittings and piping within the two (2) boiler rooms with new 87.5% efficiency or better boilers. B. Install a digital Energy Management System (EMS) to optimize the heating system, operate the existing pneumatic operators and automatically re-start the heating systems after power outages. C. Replace all non-operational economizers. D. Perform required asbestos abatement. XUMU 95-1301C T-Construct Cleanroom (Bldg 8310): A. Construct a new 2,000 sq. ft. clean room which meets class 10000 standards and will be maintained between 62 and 82 degrees Fahrenheit temperature and 20% and 60% relative humidity. B. Perform required asbestos abatement of the existing floor tiles in the construction area. The magnitude of construction cost for the total of all projects is $500,000 to $1,000,000. The total contract performance period for this project is 270 calendar days. Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) is 1711. This solicitation is unrestricted.
