Indefinite Quantity Contract for IWS/LAN Installation, at various locations in the counties of Adams, Montgomery, Jackson, Jefferson, Effingham, Saline, Alexander, Sangamon, Macon, Madison and St. Clair. Project includes but is not limited to furnishing all necessary supervision, labor, tools and materials to perform all work under an Indefinite Quantity Contract to provide complete operating electrical and IWS/LAN (internal wiring system local area network) systems as specified herein. Work includes, but is not limited to, installing IWS/LAN cabling from a LAN equipment rack location to workstations and printers, providing receptable and data outlets, labeling and testing of data and power cables, conduit and wiring, modifications to existing electrical distribution systems, and removal of existing electrical and data systems. Work shall be performed as ordered by the Contracting Officer's Representative in Delivery Orders to be issued periodically during the term of the contract. Other work will be performed by a SSA (Social Security Administration) systems furniture contractor and a SSA IWS/LAN equipment vendor. This is a one year contract for small unscheduled construction services. However, the Government will have the option of extending the period for the contract for an additional two one year-periods. Specifically, delivery orders will detail each items of work as the item is requested by the Building Management. Estimated cost is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Completion time for this project is 365 calendar days after receipt of Official Notice to Proceed. Bidders are solicited on an unrestricted size basis under Title VII of the ``Business Opportunity Development Reform Act 1988 (PL100-656).'' Therefore, reponses from both small and large business concerns will be considered. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) for this project is 1731, and the Small Business Size Standard is $7 million.
