Pre-solicitation Notice: Contractor will provide all materials, labor, equipment, and supervision to relocate an existing turboprop engine test stand assembly located at the 109th Airlift Group, Stratton Air National Guard Base, Schenectady County Airport, Scotia, N.Y. to a new location at the same facility. Project will include sitework required at the new location for the engine test stand, which will include but will not be limited to the following: earthwork, storm drainage, pavement bases, asphalt and concrete pavements, new blast deflector structure, fuel containment dike, electrical work, site utilities, painting of existing blast deflector, topsoil and seeding. The estimated construction cost range is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. The Standard Identification Code (SIC) is 1791. The work will be bid as a lump-sum, firm fixed price contract. The anticipated performance time for this project is 90 calendar days after notice to proceed. IFB DAHA30-95-B-0010 will be issued on or about 19 July 1995 with a bid opening date on or about 22 August 1995. It is required that all firms requesting a solicitation package identify, in writing, whether they will be bidding as a prime or a sub-contractor and whether their firm is a large, small, emerging small, certified small disadvantaged, or certified 8(a).
