This project consist of the removal and replacement of some exterior and interior doors and hardware, refinishing of cabinets, removal and replacement of interior finish materials, including but not limited to carpet, ceramic floor and wall tile, vinyl wall covering, ect., installation of gypsum board and miscellaneous framing and refinishing of bathroom units. Work also includes associated plumbing and electrical work, removal and replacement of HVAC piping, fan coil units and asbestos removal. The cost of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This proposed acquisition is being considered for 100% set aside for Small Disadvantaged Business Firms (SDB). Interested SDB firms need to submit their interest not later than 11 Jul 95 and provide evidence of eligibility. If adequate interest is not received from SDB firms, the Solicitation will be issued unrestricted; therefore, replies are requested from all business concerns. SDB eligibility evidence to include performance referenced, previous similiar projects completed, and positive statement of eligibility as a socially and economically disadvantaged business concern, along with bonding capability.
