Coley, Sr, 910/394-6277, Contracting Officer Mr. John Howard 910/394-6278. This project consist of constructing a 3200 SF pre-engineering metal building with a standing seam metal roof. The metal roof and metal building shall match the selected and approved Pope AFB exterior color scheme. The interior layout shall consist of an office, toilet and mezzanine storage area. The storage facility shall have an automatic sprinkler system, associated plumbing, HVAC system, lighting and electrical power. In addition, the project shall consist of site work and minor asphalt paving. The cost of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. This proposed acquisition is being considered for 100% set aside for Small Disadvantaged Business Firms (SDB). Interested SDB firms need to submit their interest not later than 11 Jul 95 and provide evidence of eligibility. If adequate interest is not received from SDB firms, the Solicitation will be issued unrestricted; therefore, replies are requested from all business concerns. SDB eligibility evidence to include performance references, previous similiar projects completed, and positive statement of eligibility as a socially and economically disadvantaged business concern, along with bonding capability.
