The data acquisition system must be physically and electrically identical to the following EME Corporation items: 32 channel data acquisition system (female), part number DAS32SF, analog input channels 32, digital total events 16, resolution 12 bit, accuracy 1% uncalibrated, clock frequency 12MHz, memory 8 megawords, temperature -32 to +180 degrees F, 2 each - Accessory package for seat instrumentation, part number DAS32S-AP1, 2 each - Accessory package for female, part number DAS33SF-AP1, 2 each - Spare parts kit for female, part number, DAS32SF-SPK, 1 each - Spare parts kit for seat instrumentation, part number DAS32S-SPK, 1 each - 32 channel data acquisition system for seat instrumentation, part number DAS32S, analog input channels 32, digital total events 16, resolution 12 bit, accuracy 1% uncalibrated, clock frequency 12MHz, memory 8 megawords, temperature -32 to +180 degrees F, 2 each. Based on information available at this time and in accordance with 10 USC 2340 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, the Government considers the items specified as a sole source from EME Corporation, Arnold MD and proposes to negotiate a contract with that firm on that basis. However, should additional firms be identified, they will be considered. Firms who feel they can furnish the required items or their functional equivalent (based upon the criteria specified herein) are invited to submit in writing an affirmative response to this announcement within 45 calendar days of publication date of this notice. An affirmative response must include literature, brochures, and such other materials which correspond to the required items stated herein. This information will be evaluated and used to determine if competitive opportunity exist. Since no solicitation exists, requests for such documents without accompanying information will be considered non-responsive to this request without further consideration.
