This procurement is for window quilts to be used in Army Family Housing at Fort Drum, New York. Quilts must match preexisting mounting hardware. A site visit will be scheduled for prospective bidders to examine mounting hardware; time, date, and location to be announced in the solicitation. Quilts must have an R-factor of 5.15 with double pane windows, 5 layer construction, outside layers are polyester-rayon, next layers are 1/4 inch thick polyester batting, center layer has a reflective vapor barrier to prevent condensation and reflects heat, ultrasonic bonding, color is bone white, flame retardant, must match Window Quilt brand or equal. Solicitation is to be issued O/A 26 Jul 95 and is a restricted procurement set aside for small businesses. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered.
