99 -- FIXATION/STABILIZATION SYSTEMS (FSS) QUALIFIED BIDDERS LIST (QBL). SOL PQOPS-TQS-90-FSS1. Contact Contract Specialist, Derrick T. Montford, 202/260-8948. EPA has established a qualification requirement, specification number PQOPS-90-FSS1, for Fixation/Stabilization Systems (FSS), used to facilitate a chemical or physical reduction of the mobility of hazardous constituents into a mass with low permeability that resists leaching. Interested parties desiring to be qualified for the PQOPS-90-FSS1 (QBL) shall submit a request within 7 days of this announcement to, EPA, Office of Acquisition Management, Regional Contract Management Branch (3805F), 401 M Street, S.W., Washington, DC 20460, Attention: D.T. Montford. EPA will supply qualification package, PQOPS-TQS-90-FSS1, by mail to applicants within 10 days after receipt of request. EPA will notify the applicant within 60 days after receipt of applicant's technical qualification statement whether the FSS passed or failed the qualification. Those applicants meeting the qualification requirements will be placed on a qualified bidders list (QBL). Those applicants not to be included on the QBL will be promptly furnished specific reasons why qualification was not attained and how to qualify in the future. Applicants submitting technical qualification statements are cautioned to furnish the specific information addressed in Section L of document PQOPS-TQS-90-FSS1. The EPA shall keep the QBL continuously open for inclusion of additional applicants and will solicit for additional applicants on a quarterly basis.
