The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, intends to award a firm fixed price contract for a contractor to provide all the necessary labor, equipment and materials required to collect approximately sixty-six (66) vibrocore borings from sediment samples. The work is to be performed in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of New Jersey and in the Delaware Bay. The contractor will be required to complete performance of the work within sixty (60) days of a written notice to proceed. The solicitation will include an option for increased quantity. Solicitation No. DACW61-95-B-0079 will be issued on or about July 25, 1995, with a bid opening date of on or about August 24, 1995, 1400 hours, at the local place of bid opening.
