Provide all labor, material and equipment necessary to peroform dockside repairs including but not limited to the following minimum items: (1) Renew watertight door, (2) Renew bow thruster and emergency generator exhaust mufflers, (3) Clean shipboard ventilation systems, (4) Overhaul and inspect various pumps and motors, (5) Inspect, overhaul, test weight handling equipment, (6) Overhaul and weight test shipboard davit crane (Allied Marine Crane-Model Davit 5000), (7) Overhaul and test motor cargo boat davit, (8) Provide temporary berthing, (9) Restore berthing compartment, (10) Renew pilot house insulation, and (11) Provide Temporary Logistics, etc. Indefinite items include but are not limited to the following: (1) Additional Temporary Berthing, and (2) Additional Temporary Logistics, etc. Vessel's homeport is Atlantic Beach, NC. The place of performance is restricted to USCG Support Center, Portsmouth, VA. Vessel availability schedule is 09 Oct 95 for 28 days. Vessel length is 180 Foot SLEP Class Seagoing Bouy Tender. All referenced documents are available for viewing at building 400N, Governors Island, NY. A charge of $100.00 is required in the form of a certified check or money order made payable to the U.S. Coast Guard for requested drawings. The proposed contract listed here is part of the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Plans and specifications will be issued on or after 13 JUL 95. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the United States Coast Guard. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to $500,000 per contract.
