Contracting Officer, (407) 494-6136. Provide all labor, materials and
equipment necessary to revitalize portions for the ground, first and
fourth floors and substantially all of the second and third floors of
the ''A'' Wing, Building 989. The walls on the second and third shall
be removed to create managers office/administrative areas, computer
area and large open work areas. The electrical, communication and
mechanical systems shall be reconfigured to support the new building
plan. New break rooms, LAN rooms, file rooms, conference rooms,
computer room with raise access floor, tape library, stroage center,
UPS room, communications control room and new PDU rooms shall be
provided. The interior side of the exterior walls shall have the
asbestos paint encapsulated. Walls shall be erected a few inches off
the exterior walls to ensure the asbestos is not disturbed. To correct
the leaking and moisture problems, some work shall be performed on the
exterior of the building. The exterior windows shall all be reomved,
repaired, and reinstalled or replaced. No window work shall be
performed on the first floor. Provide new 1000 KVA to 480/227 volt, 3
phase, 1600 amp electrical service transformer and service switchboard
to supply relocated UPS units on second floor. Remove existing fire
alarm system, and provide new addressable fire detection system
throughout the second and third floors. Relocate for the Software
Maintenance Facility in Titusville, FL and reinstall in Wing A,
Building 989, Patrick AFB all existing computer room electronic data
processing equipment, workstation computer equipment, telephone system
equipment, two (2) 300 KVA uninteruptible power supplies including
batteries, eight (8) power distribution units. Provide all labor and
materials to accomplish a turnkey relocation of the subject equipment
and systems. Construction time is 365 days after Notice to Proceed. The
applicable SIC CODE for this acquisition is 1542 and SMALL BUSINESS
SIZE STANDARD is $17.0M. Estimated range of this project is between
$1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. All request must include telephone

organization is a large, small or small disadvantaged business. No
telephone calls, please. A $25 nonrefundable fee will be charged for
each copy of a construction solicitation package. A faxed request for
copies of packages will still be accepted,(407) 494-6193, however,
checks must be received in 45 CONS/PKAB prior to issuance of packages.
Only business checks, certified checks, cashier checks, or money
orders will be acceptable and shall be made payable to DISBURSING
OFFICE DSSN 6624. NOTICE To OFFERORS: ''FUNDS ARE NOT PRESENTLY
AVAILABLE FOR THIS PROJECT. No AWARD WILL BE MADE UNTIL FUNDS ARE
AVAILABLE TO MAKE PAYMENTS UNDER a CONTRACT. The GOVERNMENT RESERVES
THE RIGHT To CANCEL THIS SOLICITATION, EITHER BEFORE OR AFTER BID
OPENING/RFP CLOSING, WITH No OBLIGATION TO THE OFFEROR BY THE
GOVERNMENT. The proposed contract is being considered for a total Small
Disadvantaged Business Set-Aside. Interested offerors must respond with
a self certification of their SDB status and evidence of capability to
perform. If responses are not received within 15 days of this notice
from two or more responsive SDB concerns, an unrestricted solicitation
will be issued without further notice. All responsible sources may
submit a bid which shall be considered by the 45th Space Command.
