Officer, 303/340-9945. This project is for reroofing and reflashing the
`75, `78 and `82 (Additive) areas of Building 401, located at the
Aerospace Data Facility (ADF), Buckley ANG Base, Aurora, Colorado. The
project includes approximately 85,800 square feet. Provide all labor,
materials, tools, equipment, supervision and performs all work and
services necessary for or incidental to the installation and use of
materials, systems and accessories for this project. Furnish the
administration, materials, labor, quality control and equipment
necessary to integrate the work into the total building system so that
leakage into the roof system or the building does not occur. Assure
that the roof system satisfies the quality standards of the roof system
manufacturer's ten year warranty (Materials and Workmanship). Work will
include Hot Mopped Modified Bitumen - substrate - existing built up
roof system over a 22 gauge metal deck. Estimated performance time is
90 days. The estimated construction cost range is between $250,000 and
$500,000. It is anticipated that a firm fixed price contract will be
awarded as a result of this solicitation. Solicitation will be
available approximately 14 July 1995. Solicitation package will be
limited to one set per bidder and will be issued on a first come first
served basis as the number of copies is limited. Copies will be
available in various Plans Rooms throughout Colorado. The Small
Business size standard for this solicitation is one where the average
annual receipts of the concern and its affiliates for the previous
three (3) fiscal years does not exceed $7,000,000 annually. The
proposed solicitation herein is being considered for 100% Set-Aside for
Small Disadvantaged Business concerns (SDB). To assist the Contracting
Officer in reaching a set-aside decision the following information
will be provided by prospective bidders. Interested concerns should as
early as possible, but not later than seven (7) calendar days after
publication of this notice, indicate interest in bidding as the prime
or as a subcontractor on the project, evidence of capability to perform
including references for similar work with contract numbers, points of
contact, and telephone numbers, and if appropriate a positive
statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically
disadvantage business concern. In addition, dollar amount of current
construction bonding capability is required. The Contracting Officer
will utilize the information received to make a decision to issue this
solicitation as a set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) or
as ``Unrestricted'' without further notice. Therefore, replies to this
notice are requested from all interested business concerns as well as
from SDB concerns. Replies must indicate the firm's size status such as
large business, small business, small disadvantaged business, or 8(a).
A site visit will be held approximately 1 August 1995. Request for bid
documents must be in writing. Telephone request will not be accepted.
