work is to provide services of utilities locating company; remove
existing underground gasoline and diesel tanks with at least 2%
contents, and waste oil tanks with at least 50% contents for disposal
and/or recycling; clean underground gasoline, diesel, and waste oil
storage tanks and associated piping including piping inside the
building; and dispose of tank rinseate and tank cleaning sludge;
excavate and remove gasoline, diesel, and waste oil underground storage
tanks and associated piping for disposal of a maximum excavated
material of 200 cy. Obtain all certificates and documentations as
required in the SA/M Manual for closure and remediation of USTs;
collect and test soil and water samples from tank removal excavations;
provide the services of a mobile laboratory to expedite the analysis
of on-site samples; backfill and compact tank removal excavations and
associated piping trenches; install new underground and/or aboveground
gasoline, diesel, propande, and waste oil tanks, associated piping and
appurtenances. Provide and pay for all permits and inspection fees to
construct and operate these tanks and/or gasoline service stations;
Dispose off-site all contaminated oils, waste water, and construction
debris generated during operation; and apply and pay for all required
permits for all UST closures and waste disposal, including tanks and
associated piping and appurtenances complete and ready for use.--The
estimated cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.--Firm Fixed Price
Contract.--Contract duration is 315 calendar days.--Bids will be
considered from all responsible sources.--This project is
unrestricted.--The Standard Industrial Code is 1629 and the annual size
standard is $17 million.--It is recommended the subcontracting plan
goals reflect a minimum goal of 5% for Small Disadvantaged Business
subcontracting effort.--NOTE: Plans and specs will not be mailed to
firms within a 20 mile radius of the issuing office.--Solicitation
packages may be acquired in person from Plan Issue or by
mail.--Telephone requests will not be accepted.--Requests for the
solicitation package must be in writing stating solicitation number

and whether bidding as a prime/subcontractor/supplier.--Plan holders
