The work is to provide services of utilities locating company; remove existing underground gasoline and diesel tanks with at least 2% contents, and waste oil tanks with at least 50% contents for disposal and/or recycling; clean underground gasoline, diesel, and waste oil storage tanks and associated piping including piping inside the building; and dispose of tank rinseate and tank cleaning sludge; excavate and remove gasoline, diesel, and waste oil underground storage tanks and associated piping for disposal of a maximum excavated material of 200 cy. Obtain all certificates and documentations as required in the SA/M Manual for closure and remediation of USTs; collect and test soil and water samples from tank removal excavations; provide the services of a mobile laboratory to expedite the analysis of on-site samples; backfill and compact tank removal excavations and associated piping trenches; install new underground and/or aboveground gasoline, diesel, propande, and waste oil tanks, associated piping and appurtenances.
