Space and Missile Systems Center, Operational Contracting Division SMC/PKDK, is seeking interested sources to Repair Roofs in Area ''A'', ''B'', Los Angeles AFB CA and at Bldg 410, at Fort MacArthur Annex, San Pedro CA. This acquisition is a''STRADDLE BID, BASED ON AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS'' and consists of, but not limited to performing all operations necessary in providing for repairs by replacement of existing roofs. Scope of work consists of a basic bid for three (3) buildings, B-100; 125 and 243 and six (6) Options. Option One, Building 130; Option Two, Buildings 115 and 110; Option Three, Buildings 120 and 205; Option Four, Building 105; Option Five, Building 410; and Option Six, Building 200 involving the removal of existing Built Up Roof (BUR) including gravel surfacing, metal gutter, down sprouts, asbestos abatement and installation of new Built Up Roof (BUR) with insulation and gravel surfacing in accordance with Specifications and Drawings. Estimated contract performance time is Basic Bid, 90 calendar days; Option One 30 calendar days; Option Two 60 calendar days; Option Three 60 calendar days; Option Four, 30 calendar days; Option Five 30 calendar days; and Option Six 30 calendar days. Total estimated performance time including Basic Bid and all Options is 270 calendar days. IFB F04693-95-B-0009 is expected to be issued on or about 20 July 1995.
